Crewe Alexandra Women are to play their first ever competitive fixture at Gresty Road’s Mornflake Stadium.
The Alex will host Tranmere Rovers there in the semi-finals of the Cheshire FA County Cup, having eliminated Macclesfield 5-1 in the previous round.
A tense contest is expected with Crewe third and Tranmere second in the North West League Premier Division, meetings in recent months bringing a 2-1 win for the Alex and a 1-1 draw.
The semi-final tie is scheduled for Sunday 24 April, with free admission.
