Everton have signed 21-year-old striker Eleanor Dale following the conclusion of her studies at the University of Nebraska where she played for Nebraska Huskers.
The England youth international played for Middlesborough and Durham, before moving to the US.
Dale told evertontv: “I’m really excited to be here. It’s been my dream to play in the Women’s Super League.
“My priority last year was to have a good season and try get my foot in the door over here.
“Hopefully I can make a difference and hit the ground running.”
Manager Brian Sorensen told evertonfc.com: “I’m really happy to welcome Eleanor to the club. There was a lot of interest for her and I’m glad she chose Everton. We want to invest in young English talent and Eleanor definitely fits that category.
“She’s made some good progress over in America, scoring a lot of goals. She sniffs out opportunities and that’s a key asset.
“Playing regular college soccer has been important for her development. That regular gametime in a physical league puts her in a good place coming in.”
