DAZN acquires broadcasting rights to the Frauen-Bundesliga

DAZN acquires broadcasting rights to the Frauen-Bundesliga for four seasons from 2023/24, including non-exclusive rights in the UK.

As part of the deal, Dazn will deliver, through the German Football Association (DFB) broadcasts including international graphics and English commentary for four matches per matchday.

The Frauen-Bundesliga has been the most successful league in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with 9 titles from 4 teams. The league is host to many of the world’s top players including German National team captain and Olympic gold medallist Alexandra Popp, Euros winner Georgia Stanway and treble winner Carolin Simon. In addition to recent FC Bayern signings Magdalena Eriksson and Pernille Harder from Chelsea.

The 2023/24 season will run from 15 September 2023 to 20 May 2024 with 12 teams campaigning for the title across 22 match weeks.
