Dartford were 3-1 winners over Aylesford in last season’s Kent County FA Women’s Cup Final at Maidstone United FC.

Dartford made the breakthrough just before the break, Emily Read’s cross forcing an own-goal by the unfortunate Alex Witham.

The lead was doubled early in the second half, Read again with the assist and Alicia Gibbs with the powerful finish.

Dartford keeper Jade Charlton made a superb save from Witham’s flick but Beth Hulme did swiftly equalise for Aylesford.

Emily Vaughan sealed the trophy for Dartford with ten minutes to go, her 25-yard drive flying into the roof of the net.
