Chelsea Women’s Maria Thorisdottir will be out for the rest of the 2019-20 season after breaking a bone in her leg during training last week.
The 26-year-old Norwegian international had already missed a long spell with the Blues after concussion last October kept her on the sidelines until May.
This year the defender renewed her contract with Chelsea until 2021 and scored a rare but crucial goal in the recent defeat of Arsenal.
