Archers make in ten in a row

Cardiff Met’s tenth straight win kept them eleven points clear of nearest challengers Swansea City.

They took only 6 minutes to open the scoring in the early evening kick off with Port Talbot Town, as Sophie Scherschel pulled the ball back for Kitty Wells to score.

The scoring was complete a similar period into the second half, when Naomi Clipson netted from the edge of the area via the post.

Swans net six

Swansea City also took little time to find their range, as they went on to hit lowly hosts Caldicot Town for six.

Katy Hosford featured in the first half, setting up Emma Beynon to score on 3 minutes before turning in a Sarah Adams cross and making it 3-0 before the break.

Stacey John-Davies made it 4-0 from a Kelly Newcombe assist shortly after the restart, Ellie Lake struck from distance and Jodie Passmore got the sixth on 88 minutes from just outside the box.

Cyncoed go third

Cyncoed thashed Caernarfon Town 7-0 to climb above both Abergavenny and Cardiff City FC into third spot.

Robyn Pinder marked her home debut with a hat-trick, Kirstie Pervin-Davies got one in each half, with Kerry Moore and Rosina Hill the other scorers.
