Bristol City Women’s top goal-scorer of last season, Ebony Salmon, will stay with the Robins for the 2020/21 Barclays FAWSL campaign.

An option to extend the striker’s stay at the club has been exercised, meaning the 19-year-old will see out the second year of her contract.

Salmon, who arrived in the summer of 2019 from Manchester United, scored eight goals in all competitions during her first season in the top flight.

Manager Tanya Oxtoby told the club’s website: “Ebony is another one of our young English players who has gone from strength to strength working within our environment and getting much valued WSL game time this year.

“She has had some stellar performances this season, and we are delighted to be able to continue to work with her next season to help her reach her potential.”
