Brighton and Hove Albion have signed 22-year-old defender Marit Auée who leaves FC Twente after two years with the Dutch club.
She has played over 50 times for the Netherlands age-groups, including 14 appearances for the U-23s.
Auée had two spells with PEC Zwolle, before joining fellow Eredivisie side Twente, with whom she won five trophies.
Managing Director Zoe Johnson told brightonandhovealbion.com: “We’re really pleased to welcome Marit to the club. She is a promising young talent and already has many accolades playing in the Eredivisie.
“We’re excited to see what she can add to the team in the season ahead as well as her own development within the group.”
