Birmingham City Women have announced that Brianna Visalli has been released from her contract early in order to sign for Houston Dash of the NWSL.
Attacking midfielder Visalli signed for Blues from West Ham United last summer and made 14 appearances but the former USA U-23 international was hampered by surgery for a medical condition in December.
The 24-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Houston Dash, who return to action in the NWSL Challenge Cup next month.
Two seasons in the @barclaysfawsl, one @TheWomensFACup, and a season with @bcfcwomen—what an amazing experience both as a footballer and person, so thank you. Very excited about the journey that lies ahead @nwsl with the @houstondash #holditdown 🤘🏼🧡 pic.twitter.com/Y8ZJ8eWMIP
