Blackburn Rovers Ladies have signed two Everton youngsters in central defender Isobel Dean and midfielder Emma Doyle.
Dean played 32 times in the FA WSL Academy League, while Doyle started all 15 of Everton’s games in the competition’s 2019-20 campaign.
Manager Gemma Donnelly told rovers.co.uk of her new signings: “Issy is a quiet but aggressive defender who has a brave mentality and is technically good.
“She adds real competition to the contracted players we have in central defence and is welcomed into our environment. It is now down to her to prove her capability at this level.”
“Emma has been at Everton for a number of years having progressed through the RTC into their Academy.
“She had trained in and around their first-team and is going to be an attacking prospect who will add competition into our midfield.”
