Birmingham City have signed Neve Herron on a two-year deal from Barclays Women’s Championship rivals Sunderland.
The 20-year-old defender had spent her whole career to date with the Black Cats, including four years in the first team, as well as appearing for England U-19s.
Herron told BluesTV: “I’m buzzing. It’s been a long time coming for me to be here. To finally be here and having everything sorted, I’m so happy to be here.
“For me, at this stage of my career, it was the right choice for me. The club want to get to the same place as me.”
