The first midweek games of the new Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season saw away wins for Cliftonville, Glentoran and Sion Swifts.
Defending champions Cliftonville defeated Derry City 9-0 with Fi Morgan completing her hat-trick in stoppage time, while Marissa Callaghan bagged a brace to take her tally to four in two games.
Glentoran hit Mid Ulster for six, Caragh Hamilton netting in the first minute, Nadene Caldwell added the second, Kerry Beattie struck twice soon after the interval, with Demi Vance and Samantha Kelly also on target.
Sion Swifts were three up inside 20 minutes at Ballymena United, Chloe McGlade took only moments to register, Cora Chambers and Teegan Lynch extending the lead. Lauren Haynes, Saoirse Healey and Kerryanne Brown all got late goals for a 6-0 win.
