Manchester City and Arsenal clash in the Barclays Women’s Super League just three days after their Conti Cup extra-time drama.

The Gunners eventually came out on top on Wednesday and have a game in hand on City but with both sides five points behind leaders Chelsea, neither have many more to spare in the title race.

Second-placed Manchester United will go top again with a win, but that will have to be achieved at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on this occasion, with a 30,000 crowd expected.

Liverpool entertain Leicester City who are four points adrift, Brighton are five off the bottom and home to Aston Villa whom they drew at only last weekend.

London City Lionesses lead the Barclays Women’s Championship by goal-difference ahead of a difficult trip to fourth-placed Birmingham City, Bristol City – who beat the leaders in midweek – in a strong position with a game in hand and home to Lewes.

Southampton in third have a morning kick-off at Sunderland, Crystal Palace are level on points with visitors Durham.

Coventry United are at least five points from safety and home to Blackburn, next-to-bottom Sheffield United take on Charlton Athletic in fifth.
