Chloe Kelly of Man City is Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month for April 2023, Marc Skinner of Man United won the Manager award.
Manchester United’s title challenge built momentum through April with three wins. Skinner’s side followed up their 4-0 victory over Brighton with a determined 1-0 defeat of Arsenal and a last minute win against a competitive Aston Villa side.
Kelly was City’s best player in April as they scored a league-high 12 goals across the month. Chloe assisted City’s goal in their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal before scoring twice and assisting once in a big win over West Ham. The winger rounded out the month with Player of the Match honours against Reading, scoring and assisting as well as having seven shots and creating eight chances.
