Friday’s start to the Barclays Women’s Super League weekend action has top-three chasing Arsenal against relegation-threatened Leicester City.

While the Foxes are two points off the bottom following last weeks win, the Gunners sit five points short of the Champions League places and have suffered another injury blow with Laura Wienroither’s ruptured anterior cruciate ligament against Wolfsburg.

Sunday’s action begins with leaders Manchester United taking on Tottenham at lunchtime, the visitors only three points above the basement.

Manchester City trail their arch rivals by three points and go to Liverpool, Brighton welcome West Ham anxious to remain off the foot of the table, currently occupied by Reading, who tackle Aston Villa.

Chelsea then face mid-table Everton in the evening kick-off, as Emma Hayes’ side continue a busy run-in in pursuit of the top two.
