Barclays Women’s Championship: Saints and Rovers clash after winning starts

Southampton’s game with Blackburn Rovers is a clash of the only two Barclays Women’s Championship teams on maximum points after the opening weekend.

The Saints kicked off their campaign with a 4-1 win at Lewes, Blackburn were the only other winners last week as they saw off Birmingham City by the only goal of the game.

Reading and Charlton Athletic get the second Championship weekend of the season underway late Saturday afternoon, with Durham v Lewes first up on Sunday at noon.

London City Lionesses take on promoted Watford, Birmingham City entertain Crystal Palace before Sheffield United and Sunderland get the last game underway at 4pm.
