Ashleigh Plumptre has signed a new contract with Leicester City FC Women that will see her remain with the Foxes until at least June 2023.
Previously part of the club’s Centre of Excellence from the age of eight and rising through the ranks, Plumptre rejoined the Foxes in 2020 after studying in America.
The 23-year-old centre-back played 25 times in all competitions last season, winning the Players’ Player of the Season award within the club.
“This is my hometown club and to have achieved what we have in my first full season of being here was amazing,” she told LCFC.com.
