Rangers Women win at Ibrox, Glasgow City seal UWCL berth

Rangers won at Ibrox in the Park’s Motor Group Scottish Women’s Premier League, while Glasgow City ensured another European adventure.

Rangers 4-0 Aberdeen

Rangers defeated the Dons with a goal apiece from Sam Kerr, Kayla McCoy, Nicola Docherty and Lizzie Arnot, in front of more than 4,400 at Ibrox.

Glasgow City still trail Rangers by five points but made the Champions League for a 15th consecutive season after securing a top-two finish in the SWPL. Hayley Lauder scored late in the first half, Peyton Perea adding a 25-yard effort to seal the win at Hearts.

Charlie Wellings notched a hat-trick as Celtic hit hosts Hamilton for six, Michaela McAlonie and Shannon Leishman netted first-half goals to give Hibs victory at Partick, while Motherwell’s first half goal from Chelsie Watson was enough to bring home the points from Spartans.

Two second-half goals from Nicola Jamieson and Alex Robson saw the Saints win at Rugby Park.
