Rangers won 1-0 at Hibernian while Hearts and Motherwell both got off the mark in the SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League 1.

Glasgow City stayed goal-difference ahead of Celtic at the top, Aoife Colvill and Lauren Davidson both at the double in the 9-0 defeat of Spartans, Charlie Wellings hit a hat-trick for the Hoops against Partick, as captain Kelly Clark clocked up her 200th appearances for Celtic.

Rangers edged Hibs with a 51st-minute Zoe Ness goal, Hearts won 3-2 at mid-table Aberdeen, Motherwell also banked their first points with three unanswered goals against Hamilton. Hearts trailed 2-0 before Amelie Birse netted either side of a Monica Forsyth effort, Leanne Crichton’s penalty and one each from Lori Gardner and Jemma Hughes won it for ‘Well.

Stirling University 0-0 St Johnstone
Kilmarnock 3-2 Boroughmuir Thistle
Queen’s Park 0-2 Glasgow Women

Glasgow Women went level on points with leaders Dundee United, Mhairi Lyle adding a late second after Cara Henderson’s opener at Queen’s Park. Kilmarnock are a point behind Boroughmuir after beating them 3-2 thanks to a Monica Harty treble, Stirling University registered a second point after a goalless game with St Johnstone.
