Katie Zelem and Lucy Bronze have both withdrawn from England’s September training camp but Isobel Christiansen has been called up.

Manchester United’s Zelem tested positive for Covid-19 and she will now self-isolate in accordance with protocol. There are no plans to call up a replacement at this time.

Bronze is managing an injury picked up in Sunday’s Barclays FA WSL match against Brighton and has now returned to Manchester City.

Christiansen was last capped for England in March 2019 as a member of the Lionesses’ SheBelieves Cup winning squad in the USA, before undergoing ankle surgery which sadly ruled her out of last summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Christiansen returned to the WSL in December 2019, signing an 18-month contract with Everton following a season with defending European Champions Olympique Lyonnais.
