Leicester City beat Reading after extra-time to set up a Women’s FA Cup quarter-final tie at home to holders Manchester City.
Top flight Reading had seen two efforts from Millie Farrow and Lisa-Marie Utland ruled out for offside before Brooke Chaplen broke the deadlock from the penalty spot at the end of the first half.
Demi Lambourne’s saves helped keep the Foxes in the tie and with 11 minutes left, Paige Bailey-Gayle forced extra-time with a 25-yard rocket in off the upright.
Grace Moloney pulled off a last-minute save to deny Ella Rutherford, when the forward was put through on goal.
Reading hit the crossbar with a free-kick but 18-year-old Bailey-Gayle sensationally won it for the Championship side with a second strike off the woodwork from 20 yards out which was judged to have bounced down over the line.
