Contract type: Permanent
Hours: This is a full-time role. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the post.
Location: The American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing. You will be expected to undertake travel as is necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Accountabilities & Key Duties
1 To successfully implement and execute clear coaching/playing syllabus in line with FA Girl’s Regional Talent Club criteria, aligned to the clubs (Women’s) playing philosophy and the RTC framework.
2 To provide analysis-based feedback as appropriate in order to enhance player learning and development across the age groups.
3 To ensure the recruitment, management and development of coaches within the RTC. Monitoring staff and keeping up to date with their footballing CV and CPD.
4 To ensure the RTC adhere to the FA standards for safeguarding children.
5 To have oversight along with the RTC Manager on training nights, liaising with all appropriate staff when required.
6 To oversee coaches from all girls age groups along with cover coaches, whilst acting as the main point of contact for all player related issues/concerns.
7 To develop a games programme in adherence with FA Regional Talent Club license criteria and under the approval of the Women’s First Team Manager.
8 To work alongside the Dual Career Academy (DCA) Head Coach and DCA Manager in supporting player transitions, as they develop accordingly.
9 To be present at all RTC training sessions and fixtures.
10 To work alongside the RTC Manager, to ensure a ‘together’ approach working harmoniously between technical staffing and business/ administrative matters.
11 To liaise and regularly update the Women’s First Team Manager, First Team Assistant Manager, Lead Goalkeeping Coach and General Manager on the development of players from U10’s upwards.
12 To ensure players are monitored and track player progression, ensuring coach’s report accordingly to appropriate staff through formal one-to –ones and informal discussions.
13 To attend and actively participate in the women’s transition meetings when required, alongside the relevant staff.
14 To represent the club at FA meetings/ seminar when required.
15 To provide one-to-one performance reports for all players twice per season (December and end of season) and provide one-to-one formal performance reports and guidance for staff three times per season with regular check-ins.
16 To devise and produce workshops for players, parents and staff to ensure a holistic development environment.
17 To develop and oversee a continuous professional development programme, to include a comprehensive mentoring strategy, for coaches and support staff involved within the Regional Talent Centre (RTC).
18 To play an active role with regards to recruitment of suitable technical staff programme.
19 To ensure RTC trials are effectively organized alongside the RTC Centre Manager.
20 To actively support the RTC Manager with the FA annual license renewal audit and programme of actions from it.
21 To work closely with the AITC Girls Football Development Officer to ensure girls programming is complimentary and supportive to help the player pathway at a community and grass roots level.
22 To attend first team training, when time allows, for observation and/or practical involvement.
23 To be aware of and keep abreast of current trends in the women’s game and disseminate to all RTC staff through CPD opportunities.
24 To provide players with clear indicators of where they need to develop through homework-based themes.
25 To liaise with Lead Physiotherapist and Sports Scientist on training needs/off season programmes for player loading, testing, pre-habilitation and re- habilitation purposes, as the main point of contact for all ages.

·       To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
