Hibernian hit Edinburgh derby hosts Hearts 7-1 but only after the underdogs opened the scoring through Danni McGinley. Siobhan Hunter levelled and went on to notch a hat-trick and substitute Shannon Leishman scored twice.
Celtic were restricted to a 2-0 scoreline by lower division St Johnstone. Chloe Craig broke the deadlock with a 61st-minute penalty and got her second goal with 7 minutes remaining.
Rangers ran out 4-0 winners at Forfar with one apiece for Holly Napier, Hannah Robertson and Shelley Campbell, while a Brogan Hay corner forced an own goal.
Motherwell went one better against Inverness, Chelsea McEachran’s double added to by Katie Rice, Abby Callaghan and a Kerry Montgomery spot-kick.
Hamilton hit a dozen goals against Clyde, Accies’ Chloe Muir leading the way with five.
However, Glasgow City really went goal crazy with twenty against Dundee City, Hayley Sinclair top-scored with four and Sam Kerr got three.
The Quarter-Final draw will be conducted at 12:30 on Wednesday 28 August live via the SWF Facebook page.
