Scotland will begin 2018 with two challenge matches in La Manga, against Norway and Russia, reports scottishfa.co.uk.
Shelley Kerr’s side travel to Spain for a training camp and will play Norway, who are ranked 14th in the world, on Friday, 19 January, kick-off 5pm (UK time) at La Manga Club.
They will then take on Russia, 25th in the latest FIFA rankings, on Monday, 22 January, kick-off 2pm (UK time) at the Pinatar Football Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar.
The matches will act as preparation for Scotland as they aim to reach their first ever World Cup.
They have started their qualifying group in promising fashion, winning both of their matches so far against Belarus and Albania.
Their next competitive match is on Thursday, 5 April against Switzerland away from home before they play Poland in Scotland five days later.
Scotland have recently moved into the top 10 of the European rankings for the first time, rising from 11th to eighth place.
Head coach Shelley Kerr said: “2018 is a crucial year for Scottish women’s football as we aim to qualify for our first World Cup.
“Switzerland and Poland will provide a stern test in April and we need to prepare accordingly.
“Going out to Spain in January allows us added time with the squad to work on our style of play.
“Both Norway and Russia are tough sides to play against and will be really beneficial for our preparations.”
