Burton Albion’s new manager is Jack White, who has previously coached at Aston Villa and Derby County.
The Brewers make their FAWPL debut on Sunday, away at Leicester City Ladies and White is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
He told burtonalbionlfc.co.uk: “This is a team on the rise, it’s been proven. Now they’re in the Premier League, it’s an exciting time to be here.”
White will be joined by a new-look coaching team of Jack Peele, who will be assistant manager and Kane Darkes, fitness coach.
Peele worked with White at Villa’s Development team and has also coached in the club’s academy, while Darkes spent last season with Liverpool in WSL 1.
Departing manager Adam Smallman commented: “His background in the women’s game and history in player development was a key point in the boards selection.”
