The Women’s Super League gets underway next month, and here we take a look at the division’s top scorers of all time.

No player has yet to cross the 100-goal mark, though one player could do so in the 2025-26 campaign if they score just 13 more goals.

The list compiled below includes a host of current and former England internationals, including Arsenal star Beth Mead.

Mead was part of the England squad that won the Euro 2025 title, after winning the Golden Boot when the Lionesses won the trophy for the first time in 2022.

Betting sites have already placed England as second-favourites to win the title again in four year’s time behind Spain.

Here we take a look at the Women’s Super League and list the top 10 goalscorers of all time.

This list takes into account everyone who has scored in the Women’s Super League era which began in 2011.

Women’s Super League top 10 scorers

10. Kim Little – 56 goals

Arsenal legend Kim Little was part of the Gunners squad at the beginning of the Women’s Super League era which won back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012.

She left Arsenal in 2013, scoring 42 goals for Seattle Reign and Melbourne City, before returning to the Gunners in 2017.

Little scored 23 WSL goals during her first stint at the club, and 33 during her second.

Her total tally of 56 goals would have been higher if she had remained at Arsenal and didn’t move to the United States. She also scored 31 league goals for Arsenal before the formation of the WSL.

Little’s place in the top 10 is at risk from Lauren Hemp, who is only four goals behind the retired Scottish midfielder.

9. Sam Kerr – 58 goals

Australian striker Sam Kerr has scored 58 WSL goals for Chelsea since joining the club in 2020.

She won the Golden Boot award in both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, with 41 goals in 42 games across those two campaigns.

However, she has not played a minute since January 2024 as she continues to recover from an ACL injury.

8. Jordan Nobbs – 59 goals

Jordan Nobbs moved ahead of Sam Kerr after scoring her and only goal of the season for Aston Villa last year in a 5-2 win over Arsenal in April.

That goal meant she has scored in every single WSL season since its inception in 2011.

However, that is a record that will likely change in 2025-26, after Nobbs recently signed for second-tier Newcastle United.

7. Ellen White – 61 goals

Ellen White was a reliable goalscorer for club and country for the best part of 17 years.

During the WSL era, White scored 61 goals for Arsenal, Notts County, Birmingham City and Manchester City.

That tally doesn’t include the pre-WSL era where she netted 38 league goals across her spells at Chelsea and Leeds Carnegie.

White decided to retire from football after England’s Euro 2022 success at the age of 33.

6. Khadija Shaw – 62 goals

Jamaican international Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has exploded up the goalscoring charts since joining Manchester City in 2021.

Shaw scored nine goals in her first season despite being second-choice behind Ellen White.

The striker was unstoppable over her next two campaigns, netting 41 goals in 40 games.

In 2024-25, she netted 12 goals in just 14 appearances, but won her second WSL Golden Boot award.

5. Nikita Parris – 69 goals

Nikita Parris, like Jordan Nobbs is a veteran of the WSL, playing in every season barring two years at French side Lyon.

The English forward has scored 69 goals across spells at Everton, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Brighton.

Parris was left out of England’s Euro 2025 squad this summer, despite scoring seven goals for Brighton last term.

In 2025-26, she will hope to add to her tally at her sixth WSL club – newly promoted London City Lionesses.

4. Fran Kirby – 70 goals

Fran Kirby is one of four players to score 70+ goals in the WSL since its formation in 2011.

The majority of her goals came during her time at Chelsea, netting 63 goals in 114 appearances between 2015 and 2024.

Kirby joined Brighton in the summer of 2024, where she added a further seven goals to her tally.

The 32-year-old took the decision to retire from international football after she was informed by Sarina Wiegman that she would likely miss England’s Euro 2025 squad.

3. Beth Mead – 70 goals

Beth Mead is matching Fran Kirby stride-for-stride in the WSL goalscoring charts, also scoring seven goals in 2024-25 to take her total tally to 70.

The England star has scored 52 goals in the top-flight for Arsenal since joining the club in 2017.

She won the Golden Boot all the way back in 2015 with Sunderland, when she netted 12 goals in 14 games.

2. Bethany England – 82 goals

Tottenham striker Bethany England is only five goals off the top of the list and would love to jump to the top of the goalscoring standings during the 2025-26 season.

The former Lioness has 82 goals across spells at Doncaster, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham.

Tottenham struggled during the 2024-25 season, finishing second from bottom in the WSL.

However, England still impressed for Spurs, scoring eight goals – more than 25 per cent of the club’s goals.

1. Vivianne Miedema – 87 goals

The top scorer of all time in the Women’s Super League is Netherlands forward Vivianne Miedema with 87 goals.

Miedema, scored 80 goals in 106 appearances for Arsenal, winning the Golden Boot on two occasions.

She then added a further seven goals after joining Manchester City last season.

Miedema would love to become the player in WSL history to net 100 goals. However, she would have to do something that she has not accomplished since 2021-22 and score 13+ league goals.
