England are in top seedings Pot A for the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship elite round draw, to be made at 10:45am (UK time) on 24th November.
The coefficient ranking list determined who went into the four seeding pots and holders Germany lead Pot A, with Republic of Ireland in B and Scotland in C.
Azerbaijan and Israel went into lesser Pot D, neither having previously reached this stage.
Pot A: Germany, Spain, Austria, England, Sweden, Netherlands, Hungary
Pot B: Poland, Republic of Ireland, France, Serbia, Belgium, Denmark, Norway
Pot C: Portugal, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Iceland, Scotland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Russia
Pot D: Finland, Slovenia, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Romania, Azerbaijan
Seven groups of four will be drawn, to include one team from each pot, although no qualifying round group winners can meet the runners-up from their section.
Hosts will then be appointed to hold the mini-tournaments, which are scheduled to be completed by 1st April 2018.
The seven group winners qualify to join hosts Lithuania in the finals from 9th to 21st May, from which the top three teams go forward to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, taking place from 13th November to 1st December in Uruguay.
