#WPWL: Swans keep pace with Bluebirds

It was a day for the travelling teams in the Orchard Welsh Women’s Premier League, with three away wins and not a single goal from any host side.

WPWL results – Sunday 6 October

Aberystwyth Town 0-6 Cardiff City FC

Llandudno 0-3 Swansea City
Port Talbot Town 0-3 Cardiff Met

Cardiff City FC hit Aberystwyth Town for six to stay top with a +19 goal-difference. Alana Murphy notched a hat-trick and there was one goal a piece for Kate Jeremiah, Zoe Atkins and Eryn Gibbs.

Swansea City stayed in touch with the leaders, also retaining their 100% record with all three goals at Llandudno. Stacey John-Davis struck in either half and Katy Hosford netted on half-time.

Cardiff Met won 3-0 at Port Talbot to take third spot from them but they had to wait until the 65th minute to break the deadlock. Madison Schupbach’s opener was then added to by Jodie Passmore and Tija Richardson in a 16-minute spell.
