Glentoran began their defence of the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership in style, while newly-promoted Lisburn Rangers also made a winning start.

Glentoran hit Crusaders for six at the Blanchflower Stadium, three goals in eight first-half minutes by Joely Andrews, Demi Vance and Aimee Neal putting them in command. Kerry Beattie added a penalty early in the second half and Rachel Rogan struck twice near the end.
Lisburn Rangers enjoyed a winning debut at Derry City, where the hosts’ Ellie Redden cancelled out Erin McGreevy’s opener but Faye Loughran grabbed the winner in the 88th minute.

Lisburn Ladies came fro behind to win 2-1 at Larne, Hollie Johnston goal at the end of the first half swiftly replied to by Stacey Murdough, before Rachel Kerr’s 51st-minute effort proved to be decisive.
Cliftonville put five past Mid Ulster, Danielle Maxwell netting just two minutes in, Louise McDaniel bagging a brace, with Kirsty McGuinness and Carla Devine also on target.
