Women’s pre-season friendly round-up for 7 July

Round-up from the pre-season friendlies on Sunday 7 July 2024, where the outcome or scoreline were made public.

Swansea City played three lots of 35 minutes against Bridgwater United, with the only goals coming in the last third as Stacey John-Davis’ opener set the Swans up for a 2-1 result.

Sam Lanza got both goals as London Bees beat Ebbsfleet United 2-0, Farnham Town had a fine 2-0 win over Watford Ladies as Eshe Kaya Davies and Maya Adams found the net.

There were mixed results for Rossington Main, as Lauren Breen scored five and Sarah Black three in a big win for the first team, Joss Parkinson also hoit a hat-trick for the Development side but they were edged 4-3 by Scawthorpe Scorpions.

Errin Davies marked her debut for Rotherham United U-21s with a hat-trick in the 6-2 win at Handsworth.

Three goals also for Chelmsford City’s Kaci Cook contributed to a 5-2 victory at Welling United.
