Women’s pre-season friendly results brought mixed outcomes for Merseyside rivals, with Everton hitting Brighton for six but Liverpool losing to Blackburn Rovers.

Bristol City fought back from two down to draw 2-2 with Lewes. Freda Ayisi and Ellie Hack scored for the Rooks, Abi Harrison hitting back with two goals in as many minutes. The Robins would have completed the comeback but Brooke Aspin’s late header was ruled out for offside.

London City Lionesses lost by the only goal of the game to West Ham United, Grace Fisk chipping the ball over for Mel Filis to net on the half-hour.
