Women’s International Round-up: Narrow wins for France and Norway

France and Norway had narrow wins at the Tournoi de France, while among the international friendlies Nepal made a dramatic comeback against India. 

France edged Denmark as midfielder Charlotte Bilbault scored just her second goal in 55 appearances, Norway also defeated Uruguay with a first-half goal, Karina Saevik the scorer.

Nepal drew 2-2 with India even though they were two down going into the last minute. Then Sabitra Bhandari levelled from a penalty and grabbed a stoppage-time winner.

Glasgow City’s Priscilla Chinchilla gave Costa Rica the lead on half-time against Colombia but the own-goal by Lixy Rodriguez meant a 1-1 result.

Mexico beat Nigeria 1-0 with Kiana Palacios netting on 86 minutes, Zambia’s Grace Chanda broke the deadlock deep into added time against North Macedonia.
