Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club are now offering a rare and exciting opportunity for a Lead Goalkeeping Coach to join our women’s and girls’ coaching team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic coach who is wishing to apply and develop their skills within a professional sporting environment whilst working with elite professional footballers.
Albion will be at the forefront of the Football Association’s bold plans to revolutionise women’s club football in England after their application was accepted to join next season’s fully professional Super League division one. This is an exciting time to join the women’s set up as Albion become one of 10 all-professional sides in the top tier of the domestic female game. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver practical goalkeeping sessions in line with the Football Associations’ Long Term Player Development guidelines.
This role will be based at our world class training facility; the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre based in Lancing. This is a full time role and due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours to include regular evenings and weekends, plus travel as required. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Hope Powell and Amy Merricks who are established names within the women’s game.
Candidates must have an FA UEFA B Goalkeeping License and have completed FA Youth modules 1 and 2. Successful candidates will have experience in coaching women’s football and developing and implementing innovative ideas. Applicants must also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a genuine team player.
