Rachel Rowe struck eight minutes from the end as Wales won away to Belarus in the UEFA Women’s Euuropean Championship qualifying campaign.
Rowe was returning from a lengthy absence with an ACL injury, while the other change from the 2-2 with Northern Ireland was debutant Anna Filbey, who played central defence in place of regular captain Sophie Ingle.
A first half of few chances saw Natasha Harding’s penalty appeals waved away and a Rhiannon Roberts’ header from a corner tipped over the crossbar.
Belarus put a good chance over the top after the interval and when Harding hit the far post Elise Hughes netted the rebound but was adjudged offside.
The breakthrough did come for the visitors though, Rowe returning a poor clearance with interest and in off the far upright.
Wales next take on Northern Ireland away on 12 November to continue their quest for qualification for #WEURO2021 in England.
