West Ham United Women have signed 17-year-old forward Alex Hennessy, who spent the last five years with the Arsenal.
Hennessy was on loan at Crystal Palace and is an England U-18 international.
She told whufc.com: “I want to become the best footballer that I possibly can and being at West Ham, I feel like I’m in an environment where I can do that.
“I’ve loved the first week here and learning from the experienced players within the team. I’m already looking forward to the beginning of the season.”
Paul Konchesky commented: “We’re delighted that Alex has decided to make the move here.
“Alex is a really exciting, intelligent player and has a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to seeing Alex continue her development with us this season.”
