West Ham United sign Norway U-19 international Thea Kyvåg from LSK Kvinner, where she made 40 first-team appearances.
A winger who can play across the front three and at wing-back, Kyvåg has signed a three-year-contract with the Hammers.
Kyvåg told whufc.com: “It’s always been a dream of mine to play outside of Norway, and I’ve always looked up to players that have made the move to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
“I would describe myself as someone that likes to get forward, to be direct and ultimately, help the team win matches. It will be amazing to begin this new adventure in England and to test myself in the best league in the world.”
Manager Paul Konchesky commented: “Thea is someone that we believe fits the mould of what we’re trying to create at West Ham. She is athletic, likes to get forward and is another exciting young player to add to our group.
“Thea already has plenty of senior matches under her belt in Norway and is someone that we are confident we will be able to develop into a superb player.”
