Wales and Republic of Ireland will meet for two friendlies in Marbella on 28 February (3pm) and 5 March (12:00), with both games live on the FAW Facebook page.

Ludlow has selected a strong squad with a mix of experience and youth, selecting Sophie Ingle, Jess Fishlock and Natasha Harding along with eight players under the age of 21, reports faw.cymru.

Elise Hughes and Anna Filbey will miss out on the camp due to injury, but defender Ffion Morgan has been recalled after missing last month’s 2-0 defeat against Italy with an ankle injury.

Also selected is striker Kayleigh Green, having served her suspension after picking up a red card in a goalless draw against Portugal last November.

The matches in Marbella will be a good test as Welsh preparations continue for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 qualifying campaign. Jayne Ludlow’s side will discover their qualifying opponents on Thursday 21 February as the draw takes place at 12:30 in Nyon, Switzerland (GMT).

Wales squad: Laura O’Sullivan, Claire Skinner, Olivia Clark, Sophie Ingle, Hayley Ladd, Loren Dykes, Megan Wynne, Gemma Evans, Ffion Morgan, Nadia Lawrence, Rhiannon Roberts, Charlie Escort, Cori Williams, Natasha Harding, Angharad James, Tamsyn Sibanda, Jess Fishlock, Kayleigh Green,  Gwen Davies, Kylie Nolan, Ella Powell, Helen Ward, Emma Jones,  Grace Horrell
