Wales will play an international friendly against New Zealand at Cardiff International Sports Stadium on Tuesday 4th June, kick off 7pm.
The two teams have only previously met once in Switzerland back in 2011, when the Football Ferns were victorious.
The FAW say that Wales manager Jayne Ludlow will see the Ferns, ranked 19th in the world, as the ideal test ahead of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 qualifying campaign which begins in August. The New Zealand fixture will be Wales’ final match before the qualifying campaign begins.
For New Zealand, the game comes just days before their World Cup fixtures commence in France.
Tickets for the match in Cardiff will go on sale on Monday 1st April at faw.cymru/tickets.
