Wales are to play their UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Qualifying Round October double header at Newport County’s Rodney Parade ground.
Faroe Islands are first up on Thursday 22 October, before group leaders Norway visit on Tuesday 27 October.
Both matches will be played behind closed doors, in line with the UEFA Executive Committee’s decision in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. UEFA will monitor the situation and advise on any full or partial lifting of restrictions at the appropriate time, which will also adhere to relevant Government guidelines.
Head coach Jayne Ludlow told faw.cymru:
“We’re very happy playing at Rodney Parade and we enjoy being there. Unfortunately we won’t have the red wall present but we want to put in two performances that will hopefully get two positive results to make our fans proud. We love having the fanbase and we hope we can continue to grow that in the future.”
