Wolves stormed to a 4-1 win at Watford in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, while Burnley and Gillingham set up massive tests in the 4th Round.

Jade Cross gave Wolves the lead but Katie O’Leary had Watford level by the interval. Kelly Darby had Wanderers back in front and the visitors were in dreamland when Anna Morphett made it 3-1. Jamila Palmer got the fourth to put the result beyond doubt, with home advantage against Blackburn Rovers the reward.

Cheltenham Town scrambled the ball home with quarter of the game left but Jade Keogh brought Gillingham back onto level terms. With eight minutes of the extra 30 to go, Otesha Charles scored for the Gills to see them visit Arsenal next weekend.

Orient’s Nyara Denny quickly cancelled out Sophie Phelps opener for Chichester at Brisbane Road but the visitors regained the lead before the break, Natasha Wild with the follow up after Gemma Simmonds hit the post. The hosts were given a penalty early in the second half but Réa Laudat hit it over the top. Chichester now return to east London next week to face West Ham in the next round.

Despite a frantic end to Burnley’s tie with Sunderland, no breakthrough could be found and extra-time was needed. It eventually came down to a shoot-out and Burnley progressed to meet Manchester United after the Black Cats missed three penalties.

Southampton Women caused a surprise against Yeovil United, eliminating them 3-0 to book a trip to Lewes.

Brighouse Town took higher division hosts Huddersfield Town to extra-time, Amy Woodruff’s penalty putting them ahead before Brittany Sanderson levelled five minutes into the second half.

Derby County won through 4-1 at West Brom, Jodie Michalska and Ellie Gilliatt both netting in either half, Emily Owen having pulled one back by the midway point.

Oxford United led at half-time through Carly Johns and doubled their lead with a close-range Daisy McLachlan finish. Billericay replied with a 35-yard lob from substitute Georgie Morton, only for Emily Allen to net from a similar distance and secure a home tie with Charlton Athletic.

Middlesbrough’s Katie Wilson got the opening goal against Wem Town from distance and Libby Dixon doubled the advantage on 49 minutes. Wilson then got her second and Armani Maxwell made it 4-0 as Boro booked a big clash with Sheffield United.
