Following another busy week of ticket sales, 40,000 have now been issued for the forthcoming Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final.
With just seven days remaining before the big London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea on Sunday 5 December, fans have continued to show their desire to be present for one of the most anticipated games of the year after a further 10,000 tickets were issued in the last week.
The Barclays FA Women’s Super League’s top two will meet for the first time since they played a thriller on the opening day of the season, in which Arsenal won 3-2, with Gunners fans hoping that Wembley will be red come full-time of the Final, with Chelsea fans eager for it to be Blue.
In what is the 50th anniversary of the competition, there are announcements due over the coming week to confirm the celebratory activity taking place on the day.
