Juventus twice led Lyon through Lina Hurtig and a Kadeisha Buchanan own-goal but the holders levelled through a Wendie Renard penalty and Melvine Malard effort, before Saki Kumagai grabbed an 88th-minute winner,
Atlético twice also twice trailed away to Servette in Switzerland but eventually came through winning 4-2.
Another side to come from behind to win were Manchester City, whose Georgia Stanway and Sam Mewis struck for a 2-1 result in Goteborg.
Sparta Praha led Glasgow City 2-0 but the visitors got a potentially crucial away goal through Sharon Wojcik.
Wolfsburg netted five times away to Spartak Subotica with Zsanett Jakabfi scoring early in each half, Chelsea matched that 5-0 score line in Benfica, where Fran Kirby bagged a brace.
Barcelona were 4-1 victors at PSV Eindhoven, aided by Jennifer Hermoso’s fourth-minute goal.
