Chelsea were beaten by holders Lyon in the Champions League semi-finals 1st leg after missing a penalty but did bag an away goal through Erin Cuthbert to boost their chances of still reaching the final.

A record crowd of 22,911 for any UWCL tie outside of the final itself saw Lyon take a 2-1 lead over Chelsea.
Delphine Cascarino’s shot went in off Blues’ Magdalena Ericsson and Amandine Henry glanced in Dzsenifer Marozsán’s corner to leave Emma Hayes’ side two goals down.
Although Ramona Bachmann won a penalty, Fran Kirby’s spot kick was saved by Sarah Bouhaddi.
However, the visitors did reply 18 minutes from time, as Beth England nodded down Ji So-yun’s ball and Erin Cuthbert fired home on the half-volley from just outside the box.
The return tie is at Kingsmeadow Stadium on Sunday 28 April kick off 2pm.

Barcelona took a 1-0 lead away to Bayern Munich, Kheira Hamraoui with the goal after 63 minutes.
Bayern came desparatey close to levelling in the last minute but Sara Däbritz’s free-kick came back off the crossbar.
The second leg is next Sunday at Barca’s Mini Estadi.
