Glasgow City drew their UEFA Women’s Champions League Round 2 1st Leg tie in Servette after Clare Shine levelled on the volley.
Former Reading and Bristol Academy forward Jade Boho Sayo had given the Swiss side the lead early in the second half, meeting a free kick with a backward header that dropped inside Lee Alexander’s far post.
Janine Van Wyk’s long-range effort was tipped over the bar by Inês Pereira and at the other end, Alexander pushed away a Daina Bourma strike.
Midway through the second half, Clare Walsh hit a long ball down the middle and Shine met it with a sweetly-timed volley to give Pereira no chance.
