The 2022/23 UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship gets underway in the autumn with group games after today’s 1st Round draw.
England will meet Denmark, Slovakia and Slovenia in their group, Scotland play Spain, Finland and Switzerland, Wales’ opponents are Italy, Hungary and Serbia, while Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are again grouped together as in this morning’s U-17 draw, with France ad Poland this time their other opposition.

Group A4: England, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia
Group A5: France, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Northern Ireland

Group A7: Norway, Belgium, Portugal, Malta
League B
Group B1: Croatia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Cyprus
Group B2: Romania, Latvia, Albania, Armenia
Group B3: Iceland, Lithuania, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein
Group B4: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Estonia
Group B5: Bulgaria, Kosovo, Gibraltar
Group B6: Belarus, North Macedonia, Georgia
Group B7: Czech Republic, Andorra, Kazakhstan
Hosts will be appointed for each mini-tournament, to be played in principle on these dates: 30/31 August and 5/6 September, or 4/5 and 11 October, or 8/9 and 14/15 November 2022.
Teams finishing fourth in League A groups will be relegated to League B for the second round, while the other positions will decide seeding for that stage.
The teams in League B will compete for promotion to League A, group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section will be promoted.
