Torquay United Ladies To Play At Plainmoor

Torquay United are to play their first home game of the season at Plainmoor on Sunday 17th September, when they will face AEK Boco in a 2pm kick-off.

“The girls are ecstatic to be playing at Plainmoor,” player and co-manager, Vicki Fannon told torquayunited.com.

“Pre-season is going well and the players are looking sharp and hungry. We have added five new signings over the summer that have come from Yeovil Town Ladies and Exeter City Ladies.”

The Gulls begin their new South West League Premier Division campaign a week earlier with a Devon derby away at 2016-17 runners-up Marine Academy Plymouth on Sunday 10th September.

The same day, newly promoted Bristol-based AEK Boco start with a visit from Exeter City, who were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season.
