Celtic and Glasgow City won through to next month’s SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup Final.
Glasgow City were kept at bay by Spartans for almost an hour, in the first of the semi-final double-header at Forthbank Stadium.
The breakthrough came after 59 minutes as Costa Rica international Chinchilla slotted the ball into the far corner after a defence-splitting pass from fellow midfielder
Mairead Fulton sent Priscila Chinchilla through to slot home the opening goal, Hayley Lauder then quickly doubling the advantage.
Spartans lost Louise Mason to a second yellow card late on and in added time Tyler Dodds cross was volleyed home by Chinchilla to make it 3-0.

Hibernian were bidding to reach a fifth SWPL Cup final in a row and took an early lead, Alexa Coyle setting up Rachael Boyle to net from the edge of the area.
Celtic were level at the start of the second half, Jacynta Galabadaarachchi beating Gabby English from outside the box and with ten minutes to go, the Hoops’ prolific Charlie Wellings found the top corner for a final score of 2-1.

Dundee United go top of SWPL 2
One league fixture saw Dundee United defeat St Johnstone 5-1 to takeover the leadership from Glasgow Women on goal-difference.
Morgan Steedman gave the visitors a shock lead but Rachel Todd replied to make it level at the break.
Robyn Smith put United ahead, Danni McGinley scoring either side of a Neve Guthrieeffort, her second coming from the spot.
