Glasgow City made it 13 SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League titles in a row with three games to spare, after a 10-0 midweek thrashing of Motherwell.
There were braces by Kirsty Howat and Hayley Sinclair plus singles from Jenna Clark, Megan Foley, Clare Shine, Leanne Crichton, Leanne Ross and Jordan McLintock, as City made in 18 straight wins in the league.
With the title retained, Scott Booth’s side still have the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup final to contest and a place in the Champions League quarter-finals to secure.
Meanwhile in SWPL 2, Hamilton Academical reduced Hearts’ lead at the top to just three points with a 4-2 result against FC Kilmarnock.
