FA Women’s National League Plate Quarter-Final drama saw Southampton Women’s FC come from 3-0 down to beat Billericay while Crawley Wasps won on penalties.

Northern Premier Division

Loughborough Lightning P-P West Bromwich Albion

A win for Derby County saw them move up to fourth, aided by Amy Sims’ hat-trick.

Southern Premier Division

London Bees 1-2 Ipswich Town

Ipswich went level on points with second-placed Portsmouth, Natasha Thomas and Sophie Peskett on target after Bolu Fisher scored for the Bees.

Northampton Town 2-0 Lincoln City
Solihull Moors 4-2 Sporting Khalsa

Solihull fought back from a goal down to defeat Sporting Khalsa and go second. Northampton went seventh with a good win over Lincoln City, Jade Bell with both goals but a red card for Beth Artemiou.

Durham Cestria moved four points clear with victory at fifth-placed Middlesbrough, Jordan Atkinson and Poppy Pritchard their scorers.

Norwich and Wimbledon rose to second and third respectively after their draw, Natasha Snelling with a late leveller for the Canaries to cancel out Hannah Billingham’s effort for the Dons. Actonians edged a seven-goal thriller, staying ahead against Cambridge United after going in front in the second half.

Maidenhead United 2-3 AFC Bournemouth
Selsey P-P Exeter City

Six-goal Cardiff kept their lead at the top, Swindon did take the lead but there was a hat-trick for Cori Williams. Bournemouth are second on goal-difference after a win at Maidenhead where Molly Clark netted twice.

League Cup Quarter-Finals

Watford P-P Milton Keynes Dons
Plymouth Argyle 0-3 Portsmouth (Att: 145)

Portsmouth progressed at Plymouth where Sophie Quirk, Tierney Scott and Ella Humphrey found the net. Nottingham Forest knocked out Burnley, Charlotte Steggles’ penalty added to on 80 minutes by Gianna Mitchell before Alyssa Aherne replied.

Southampton Women 4-3 Billericay Town

Crawley Wasps forced extra-time against Cheltenham with a penalty before winning the shoot-out. Southampton Women came from 3-0 down against higher division Billericay who had Lucy Jones red-carded, Rachel Okoro completing her hat-trick with seven minutes left.
