Barclays Women’s Championship side Southampton FC have confirmed that Remi Allen has left her role as manager by mutual agreement.
She becomes the third boss to leave a club in the top two tiers in just two days, following the departures of Matt Beard from Liverpool and Laura Kaminski from Crystal Palace.
Allen joined the Saints last summer from London City Lionesses, with Marieanne Spacey-Cale having moved into a new role as Director of Women’s Football role.
Spacey-Cale will now see the team through its final six games of the campaign.
